Quick Answers to Common Questions

Here you will find insight to help you feel more at ease as you begin your therapy journey. If you ever need more clarity, you are always welcome to reach out!

How do I get started?

You can book a free 15 minute consultation call! This is where we will discuss your concerns and I will be able to answer any questions you may have. If we decide we are a good fit, we can proceed to scheduling our first session.

Do you have any immediate openings?

At this time, I’m currently operating from a waitlist rather than having immediate openings. That means I’m not scheduling new clients right away, but I’d be happy to add you to the waitlist and reach out as soon as an opening becomes available!

How are sessions held?

All sessions are held virtually via HIPAA compliant Zoom, allowing you to connect from the comfort and privacy of your own space. I am not providing any in person services at this time.

How often do we meet?

Most individuals begin with weekly sessions, though we may shift to biweekly or monthly depending on your progress, goals, and preferences.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 45 – 60 minutes, depending on your needs. If we are utilizing Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), the initial session may be up to 90 minutes, with follow up ART sessions generally running closer to 60 minutes.

What should I expect in our first session?

Our first session is all about getting to know you: your story, your goals, and what brings you to therapy. We’ll move at a comfortable pace as we explore what’s been happening in your world and what you hope to gain from our work together.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background and current challenges, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to. From there, each session will be tailored to your needs and your pace.

What are your hours?

Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Thursday: Limited appointments available

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

A Good Faith Estimate is a cost estimate required under the No Surprises Act, a federal law designed to protect clients from unexpected medical bills. It outlines the expected charges for your care before your session, so there are no financial surprises.

You may request a Good Faith Estimate at any time. You are entitled to one if you are not using your insurance benefits. Once your first appointment is scheduled, you will receive your Good Faith Estimate within 3 business days.
